I frequently get asked if I take black and white wedding photos. The answer to that question is a definite YES. I am a bit of a colour addict which is probably why I always post the colour photos on my blog. Though, I must say that nothing beats a classic black and white photo (I too love black and white for those of you who are wondering about that).
So today I am going to break away from the colour photos and instead post some killer black and white shots of Michelle getting ready.

I am very proud of myself, it has only been a few days and here I am blogging again! I am getting the hang of it which is one of the many I can tick of my “to do” list this week! I have been working hard this past week to get Michelle and Norman’s photos on my blog, to be honest; I worked around the clock. I don’t mind, the photos came out STUNNING.
Our day started out with my Garmin sending my assistant and I around in circles, we thought we will never get there in time. I decided to follow my instincts, get back on the highway and in no time arrived at 10 2nd Houghton Estate. (Just for interest sake, Houghton Estate is used as the house of the Edward’s Family in Egoli).
The garden catered for and really complemented the couple’s idea of an intimate, romantic and VERY Stylish wedding.
Although we had rain earlier on in the day, the lighting and ambiance were fabulous which just added an extra to the already very beautiful Michelle, thus creating the romantic and dramatic scene for the very much in love couple. The Rolls Royce was an added bonus. After the rain, the trees just looked so much greener and the clouds created such an amazing natural soft box that we had to take the Rolls Royce and make use of the perfect light. Michelle and Norman made my job so much easier, they were naturals when photographed. It is always so much easier if a bride knows what she wants. I would like to thank you for making my, already fantastic job, so much more fun
After the wedding my assistant and I had a glass of the most divine red wine (I think it was a Pinotage) going over the day’s happenings and the experience we had working together. Which we both can say was very pleasant!
I hope you enjoy the photos and I wish you a very happy married life together!
