This photo was taken after midnight, yup, pretty late or should I say early : P Anyway, that’s when all the guests had left and we decided to do a quick 10 minute creative shoot - this was the only opportunity that we had that day and I didn’t want to miss it. The staff were running around in a mad frenzy, clearing up the venue in record time - drapes down, tables cleared and packed and the lovely lighting that had filled the large hall throughout the reception was gone, instead we were faced with glaring fluorescent lights and an empty hall and staff zooming around (the reception was held at the Coca-Cola Dome - that’s the kind of space you need for a wedding of approximately 800 guests). But we were all determined to do a creative shoot, this was going to be a challenge - fabulous! We scurried around and found a small room where there was a single, non-fluorescent light, very moody! Even though we were all exhausted, I think taking the time to do this quick shoot was worth it as we got some really awesome images. This is one of my favourites:

Nicky and Gibbie, who I must say rocked, were married at Longmeadow a few weeks back. The skies were dark - BUT, for a change, it didn’t rain. The weather was actually perfect for their outdoor ceremony and the creative shoot, you can’t beat a big soft-box in the sky (that would be the clouds for those of you who are wondering what on earth I am talking about). For now, here are a few pics from the couple shoot.
